The NewRoads Automotive Group have been proud sponsors of the Women’s Centre for many years through sponsorship and participation.

“The Women’s Centre of York Region became a part of my life almost 8 years ago.    As I come up to my eighth year I know I am surrounded by the most dedicated group of people I have ever met.  I am very proud of our clients, staff, donors, community partners, volunteers and our board of directors.  I’m looking forward to a very successful future with this team and believe very strongly that with our collective vision and team effort, anything is possible.”
– NewRoads Community Relations Manager Kelly Broome  and the centres co-chair said.

There was a very heart-warming story told by Michelle Garner, a client of the Women’s Centre who after fleeing with her daughter and five month old son after receiving the care and services from the centre.  Today, Michelle thanks to the great work of the Women’s Centre she has found a home, is able to provide for her children, returned to school and graduated this year with a bachelor of arts in business administration with a major in Human Resources.
