NewRoads gets their Denim on for World Down Syndrome Day

On Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 join the NewRoads Community Crew while we get our Denim on for World Down Syndrome Day. Dozens of NewRoads Employees, Friends, Family, Neighbours and Customers are invited to join us by choosing to ditch the suits and heels and create a “fashion statement” by wearing clothes made from the sturdy cotton fabric known as Denim.
Why denim, and what’s the fashion statement?
Denim is not something many of us have the opportunity to wear to work. Giving a chance to employees to wear jeans to work for a great cause promotes an excellent work environment. One of the many things I love about working at NewRoads. We encourage fun in our work while supporting our community and its many causes.
World Down Syndrome Day
All people with Down syndrome must have opportunities to contribute to the community and live valued lives, included on a full and equal basis with others, in all aspects of society. People with Down syndrome can and do bring so much to the community, wherever they live around the world when given the opportunity.

100% of our proceeds raised will go to Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN). DSDN supports families with current information and real-life accounts of life with Down syndrome during the prenatal, newborn, and early childhood phases. The DSDN is committed to creating unbiased, family-centered discussion of Down syndrome within the medical community in order to cultivate a culture of acceptance and inclusion for those with Down syndrome at all stages of life. http://www.dsdiagnosisnetwork.org
Down Syndrome Day
It is indeed amazing when a sturdy cotton fabric known as Denim can inspire change. We are very grateful to everybody in the community whose continuous support allows us to continue our mission of giving back to the community and helping people find NewRoads.
