2013 Chevy Equinox Review | Find NewRoads
The 2013 Chevrolet Equinox is the perfect family vehicle because of its impressive fuel economy ratings as well as a spacious and comfortable interior. With excellent crash-test results, it won’t be surprising if the new Equinox is a Top Safety Pick again after earning the award in 2012.
One thing that really stands out with the Equinox is its great fuel economy. Its 7.35 L/100km on the highway makes it one of the best fuel efficient vehicles in its class. The fuel economy can be further improved with “Eco” button that allows for more conservative air conditioning.
The Equinox comes with some impressive technology such as a touch-screen audio system, power windows/locks/doors and an AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary input jack. You also have the option of adding a new voice-activated system called MyLink.
The MyLink Package includes hands-free controls and smartphone connectivity.
Starting at $26,935, the Equinox is a very affordable family vehicle. The safety and technology features are both advanced for its class and the fuel economy is great for a non-hybrid vehicle of its size. If you’re looking for a midsize-SUV, it’ll be hard to find better value than with the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox.
