The all-new 2013 Kia K9

2013 Kia K9
The new 2013 Kia K9 has recently gone on sale in South Korea and will be coming to North America sometime in the future. There’s been a lot of buzz about this particular vehicle due to its sleek design and a plethora of new technology and safety features that comes with it.
The K9 is a luxury sedan with a rear-wheel drive platform, which is a first for Kia. It’s equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and shift-by-wire technology which allows it to accelerate smooth and very quickly.
Kia has created the K9 so that it is useful and safe in every kind of driving condition. There are four modes (Normal, Snow, Sport and Eco) that change the set-up of the suspension, engine, steering and transmission based on which mode you choose.
Some of the added features to the K9 include radar-based Blind Spot Protection, Lane Departure Warning System, all-LED headlamps, an Around-View monitor with four cameras and Smart Cruise Control. All these new technologies make the K9 extremely safe to drive and will help to reduce accidents.
The K9 also has some added luxuries to it such as two 9.2-inch monitors for rear seat passengers and a 17-speaker Lexicon sound system. The special “VIP” option of the K9 is even more luxurious with heated and ventilated rear seats, lower leg support for the nearside seat and a front passenger seat that slides forward when there’s no one in it.
The overall length of the K9 is 5.09 metres, which gives occupants of the front and rear seats an ample amount of legroom.
The 2013 Kia K9 is one of the most anticipated vehicles on the market right now and will hopefully come to Canada very soon.
