2014 Cadillac ELR Review
When Cadillac introduced their new electric-powered vehicle, the ELR, it gave consumers the option of driving a powerful, luxury vehicle that was also environmentally friendly. Based off of the Chevrolet Volt, the 2014 Cadillac ELR is the most stylish and refined green vehicle on the market today.
Similar to the Volt, the 2014 ELR is able to go a certain distance in an all-electric mode before a gasoline engine starts up to help generate more electricity for the motor system. However, the new Cadillac is far more luxurious than the average green vehicle.
Along with an attractive interior, ELR drivers will have the option of using CUE, Cadillac’s infotainment system. CUE has seen some improvements this year with better navigation, speed and responsiveness, making it more advanced compared to its competing systems.
The ELR has a very impressive fuel economy for a luxury vehicle with a fuel rating of 6.5 L/100 km. Like the Volt, the ELR takes approximately 4.5 hours to charge completely on 240-volt power.
If you’re in the market for a luxurious, green vehicle, there is no better option than the 2014 Cadillac ELR.
