2014 Corvette Stingray Arrives in Newmarket

 
 
Today is another exciting day at NewRoads as we received another 2014 Corvette Stingray, this one is currently sitting in our showroom and allows our customers to sit in it and feel the thrill you get by just sitting behind the wheel. I recently had the opportunity to drive this car and I finally understood why it is being compared to super cars that are two and four times more money…because they are the only cars that can compete with the new Stingray. The new Corvette can’t be compared to cars in its own price range there is no comparison, this car really is designed to compete with Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
 
While the Corvette Stingray holds its American roots and continues to offer some of the features that have been attracting Corvette buyers for more then 60 years the new Corvette Stingray gives European sports cars a run for their money for a lot less money. GM says the “Stingray is engineered to defy convention. Designed to dismiss the ritualistic and the cliché. Created to oppose the expected, abolish empty traditions and explore the unknown”.
 
With a 6.2L LT1 V8 boasting 450 horsepower and 450 foot pounds of torque allowing the new Stingray achieve a 0-96 km/h time of under 4 seconds. Offering features never before seen on a Corvette and a revolutionary body design allows this Corvette to be the first in decades to earn the Stingray nameplate. there is no doubt in my mind that this car was created to find new roads.
