Highway 11 Cruisers hosted the NewRoads Big Brothers Big Sisters Charity Classic Car Show
The Fall season’s most anticipated car show continues bringing some of the most incredible cars in York Region. On September 17th the Highway 11 Cruisers hosted by the NewRoads Big Brothers Big Sisters Charity Classic Car Show.
With over 500 cars in attendance the Gormley Go Station was transformed to become the perfect NEW location for the show. All of us at the NewRoads Automotive Group would like to thank the volunteers, sponsors, participants and our incredible #NewRoadsCommunityCrew for a truly fantastic day.
Well-respected in the collector car community, the Highway 11 Cruisers enjoyed its 7th successful year raising $50,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of York Region. “These much needed and appreciated funds go a long way to support our programs and services” Executive Director Sarah Damn of Big Brothers Big Sisters of York said. “Organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters provide programs and services that are critical to the fabric of our community” says Michael Croxon, President of the NewRoads Automotive Group.
The Highway 11 Cruisers car club (founded in 2010) are a small group of like-minded car enthusiast who have grown to be a community of great people who give back and have fun doing it. NewRoads is a proud sponsors of the Highway 11 Cruisers Car Club because bringing people together for a good cause is part of what we do. The Highway 11 Cruisers do not charge a fee but instead ask for a little time throughout the year to volunteer to help with the many incredible events they run.
Through our partnership with the Highway 11 Cruisers we have supported many charities including… SickKids, Ernie’s Journey/ United By Trauma, JumpStart, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York, Canadian Crime Victims Foundation to name only a few.
Everyone is welcome !!!! Membership is made up of a wide-ranging group of individuals and families with people coming from a number of different geographical areas and backgrounds. The thing that sets them apart is a common love for cars. This event truly has “A Car for Everyone”. The Highway 11 Cruisers is an all-inclusive organization which means they welcome all genres of vehicles from classics to modern, tuners and euro no matter if it is a car, a truck, motorcycle or even a boat you are always welcomed to participate.
Last but certainly not least we would like to thank Mother Nature for giving us once again a beautiful day at NewRoads.
