2014 Magna Wild West Hoedown in Aurora!

It started out as a backyard BBQ at Frank Stronach’s family farm in Aurora, and it has since become one of Canada’s leading charitable fundraisers and country-themed events!  Each year, the event is attended by thousands of local residents who come out to enjoy the outstanding live entertainment while supporting a number of worthy community causes.
 
This year’s Hoedown, proudly hosted by Magna International Inc. and Neighbourhood Network, promises to be another memorable night featuring Beverley Mahood and Lonestar, as well as a Texas-style BBQ dinner and the Prospector’s Raffle, with thousands of dollars in cash prizes.
 
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to a wide range of local charities and community groups.
 

Schedule Highlights:

Saturday, September 6th, 2014: Join us at Aurora Ribfest (time TBD) for the Hoedown Showdown semi-finals, hosted by Beverley Mahood.
 
Friday, September 12th, 2014: Finals for the 2014 Hoedown Showdown, our Ontario-wide country music talent contest, underneath the Hoedown tent. The evening will feature our Top 10 contestants, as well as headliner Tim Hicks! Admission is $25.00 (food/beverages not included).
 
Saturday, September 13th, 2014: The Showdown winner will then get to play at the Hoedown the following night, Saturday, September 13th along with our headliner, Lonestar! Tickets for the Hoedown are $75.00, which includes your Texas-style BBQ dinner.
