Last Minute Holiday Season!

 
The holiday season is in full swing and it’s time for those last minute things. You know, that one person that you still can’t seem to figure out what to get or that other person that you forgot about until now (it happens to the best of us). I was in a very similar boat over the past weekend. So I set out on a mission, because holiday shopping is a battle and I was going to come out on top. I made a list and checked it twice, and pushed start in the new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Hatch!
 




 
I’m going to tell you now that making a list was the best thing I did that day, because when you’re on a holiday shopping mission the last thing that you want to do is get distracted. First off I headed to the Real Canadian Superstore (which happens to be next door to our GM dealership)!  Even though the Superstore is usually the place to stock up on everything food I think that I hit the jackpot on holiday wrapping paper and cards – it’s the small things people!
 




 
After the Superstore I headed over to the dreaded mall.  I know, going to the mall the weekend before Christmas, call me crazy. But I love the mall so the crowds weren’t really a big deal. Upper Canada Mall is loaded up with the best of the best making it easy to find something for everyone your list. Now, this part is very important; pick up a little something for your self because you were brave enough to brave the mall, take it from me it will raise your spirits.
 




 
I think that it is important not to get lost in all the hustle and bustle of the holidays and spend some time appreciating the actual season. In Canada we’re very lucky that we have four seasons. So, even though the sun sets earlier and the temperature drops it’s still nice to spend time outside. In Newmarket we have so many options to enjoy the winter, skating on Main Street, tobogganing or just taking a walk with friends and family!
 




 
Here’s the deal, I think that the Chevy Cruze might be perfect & I think I might have an obsession with the back-up camera. Not only was it extremely helpful in the crowded parking lots but, reversing in general was a breeze – even in the snow. I’m also a personal fan of the keyless entry – it makes taking cover from the snow so much faster and simpler! The hatch back was also IDEAL for loading in all my gifts with tons of room. This small but mighty car will make dealing with the holiday season so much easier!
