Paws in the SARC

Paws
For most of us who have a dog, we love our companions each and every day.  Dogs are our pride and joy. They love us unconditionally, they make us smile at the end of a hard day of work or school, and they are our source of endless companionship, after all they don’t call them man’s best friend for nothing.

On Saturday, May 11th 2019 the NewRoads Automotive Group participated in a community event called Paws in the SARC.  For those who live in the Town of Aurora the name SARC is well known.  For those who do not it stands for the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex.   During this time of year often the Town of Aurora removes the ice from its arena’s providing an excellent opportunity to run an event and through this opportunity Paws in the SARC was born.

The event was free to the public and donations were appreciated to support the local animal shelter the Town of Aurora, Newmarket and Georgina share.  In addition there were over 60 vendors from dog collars to dog portraits, plus aqua dogs dock jumping, and more.  Over all it was fun for the whole family.

NewRoads is dedicated to caring for our community through sponsorship and participation and our Community Crew were very happy to participate with our own families and dogs.  Many of our four legged friends are sporting free bandanas courtesy of NewRoads.
