Car Audio Components for Commuters

Car Audio Components for Commuting

On average, North Americans spend about four hours per week commuting to and from work. If you’re forced to spend that much time in your car, you should make the most out of your ride. Here are some of the best car audio components you can add to your vehicle.

Speakers: Coaxial speakers will improve high range sound while component speakers will improve the sound in general and deliver better audio than the average coaxial speaker.

Subwoofers: Subwoofers will improve low range sound of your audio system. To install a subwoofer you’ll need a subwoofer enclosure and an amp.

Amplifiers: When choosing an amplifier there are two things to consider; RMS and peak power. RMS is the amount of continuous power applied to the amp while peak power is how much power can be delivered during a loud moment.

Crossovers: Passive crossovers block unwanted frequencies while active crossovers are more customizable and efficient because they handle the sound before it goes into the amp.

While driving can sometimes become tedious and boring, it doesn’t have to be with the right audio system in your vehicle.
