Why Wax my Car | Vehicle Maintenance Tips

Why wax my Car?

So, question… why wax my car? While most car owners are concerned with keeping the engine of their vehicle in good shape, many neglect the exterior of their car. Although a wax job may not seem essential, it’s actually something you should be doing on a regular basis.

Getting a wax job will improve the resale value of your vehicle greatly, which is why it’s so important to have them done often. Waxing helps the paint of your car from wear and oxidation. This will help your car to look brand new long after you purchase it.

Most wax manufacturers say you should perform a wax job on your vehicle every 30-45 days, but a good synthetic wax job can last much longer. Also, if you park your car indoors you won’t have to get a wax job as often as someone who parks their vehicle outdoors.

The easiest way to determine whether you need a wax job is to watch how the water on your exterior behaves when you wash it. If the water forms sheets on the surface, than its time for a new wax job.
