Car Wax for Spring and Summer
With the warm weather now here, bugs are becoming a pain for everyone, including drivers who are finding them stuck on their windshield. Not only does the hot weather bring bugs, but it also brings tree droppings and other natural hazards. It’s important to take good care of your car during the spring and summer months to avoid serious damage to the exterior.
Considering a coat of car wax only last a few weeks, it’s a good idea to get multiple car waxes during the next couple months. It’s important to choose the proper wax as choosing a cheap option can leave scratches on the vehicle. Be extra careful if you have a dark vehicle, as they are more prone to scratches.
Typically, liquids and pastes are more durable than spray on waxes, but a spray can be more appropriate if you live in an especially buggy area. If a certain wax has worked well for you in the past, it’s a good idea to continue using that one, even if it is a bit more expensive.
Bugs and other natural hazards can cause visible damage to the paint, so waxing your vehicle is vital for keeping your car looking new during the hot months.
