Child Seat Safety workshop series continues at NewRoads Subaru Newmarket

NewRoads is dedicated to caring for our community through sponsorship and participation, making us proud to host our 2019 Child Seat Safety workshops with St John Ambulance.
St. John Ambulance (SJA) Car Seat Safety Teams are made up of car seat educator volunteers that are nationally certified and trained to the latest safety regulations. Our volunteers educate and coach parents or guardians in the use of child restraint systems. Car Seat Safety Workshops are scheduled at all of our NewRoads Automotive Group locations throughout 2019.

Our second workshop took place on Saturday, June 8th at our NewRoads Subaru  Newmarket location.  It was a FULLY BOOKED DAY full of families attending 30 minute works shops to check, learn, update, and share their knowledge through hands on demonstrations of proper child seat installation.

Did you know?

St. John Ambulance train Ontario Provincial Police and York Regional Police officers on the proper installation of Child seats?
St. John Ambulance has noted that on average 80% of our child seats are installed incorrectly.
In 2018 St John Ambulance Car Seat Safety Team Volunteers, delivered over 350 car appointments to parents about car seat safety.



NewRoads is dedicated through our partnership with St. John Ambulance to help more families have the opportunity to learn from the experts by delivering our Child Seat Safety Workshops in all of our NewRoads locations.
