Common reasons for vehicle breakdown

Although no one wants to think about having their car breakdown when they step into a vehicle, it can happen at the most inopportune times. Therefore, it’s a smart idea to know how to diagnose the problem so you can possibly fix it yourself or at the very least avoid it in the future.

Electrical problems are one of the most common issues when your car breaks down. Something such as a blown fuse can cause the engine or transmission to quit, which will completely disable your vehicle.

Many people probably believe the most debilitating mechanical problem would be with your engine, but the truth is suspension issues are more difficult to repair and diagnose. A car cannot go anywhere if it’s not able to roll. Therefore, it’s a good idea to check that all your vehicle’s leg nuts are tightened securely.

Finally, maybe the most common reason for vehicle breakdown are complications with the engine. If your vehicle isn’t running at all, it could be a problem with either the fuel or the spark. If you want to check if the engine is the issue, remember to check the spark first and then the fuel.
