Crossfit to Crossout Cancer

Often people and community groups get behind a cause because of a personal connection. Crossfit founder and NewRoads Subaru of Newmarket’s own Ambrosio Benudiz sadly had inspiration that lead to an incredible fundraiser know today as Crossfit to Crossout Cancer.

In 2013 Ambrosio’s wife and mother of his two young children Andrea underwent surgery and was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Southlake Cancer unit detected the cancer in its early stages and therefore she is now cancer free. The gratitude felt by this recovery sparked the idea of this much-needed fundraiser. Ambrosio and dear friend Krystine decided to organize this event to give back to the Southlake Cancer Foundation and the community.

On behalf of all of us at the NewRoads Automotive Group thank you to all of the sponsors and athletes for helping raise over $50,500 in their 4th year. Year to date this event has raised $152,000 for Southlake.

2019 was a year to remember and we cannot wait to see what’s next.
