Community Matters…NewRoads Girls Night Out
In everything we do, considering the impact to our local community – neighbours, friends, customers, suppliers, local businesses… matters!
 
It’s how to grow any business responsibly for sustainable long term growth. It’s how to feel good about the things we do accomplish. It’s how to share some of our success with those that help contribute to it. It feels good to help others that are in need.
 
A great idea was born early in 2011 – to celebrate the Women in our Community somehow on International Women’s Day.
 
A couple of ladies in our organization came up with the GIRLS NIGHT OUT concept. On March 6, 2012, NewRoads Automotive Group will be holding it’s 2nd Annual – Girls Night Out event!
 
It’s a venue for woman to gather, chat, network and make new friends. The atmosphere is relaxing. Some local female business owners will have the opportunity to promote relevant products and services.
 
Appetizers will be nibbled and wine will be sipped.
 
Woman guest speakers will share influential stories.
 
There will likely be a local female celebrity or two.
 
Woman will celebrate – the power of women.
 
Some donations to a local charity will again be part of agenda.
 
Last year the turn out was amazing. This year it’s expected to be double in size with 100′s of local woman gathering.
 
As the General Manager at NewRoads Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, I’m fortunate to play the role as “Lead Parking Attendant”. This is a supporting role I’m proud to do – I even have my own movie poster, see below 🙂
 
Woman play many lead roles and support duties every day and truly are an intricate part of our Community.
 
While there may be a few automobiles on presentation, there will be no-one selling vehicles this night. This is a celebration of women, relationships and community.
 
The fact is as a male, I’m jealous I think. We may need some of the woman to help us plan a Boys Night Out. Maybe during football season this fall. While I dream about this, I’m proud to know Girls Night Out will be here – providing a great evening in several ways. View video from last year’s Girls Night Out event.
