GM's Connected Car | #GMCanConnectedCar

The innovator, General Motors announced on April 28, 2015 big news for the Canadian auto industry, causing a twitter frenzy! GM’s Canadian Engineering Centre in Oshawa is going to be growing into an innovation hub for the “connected car” and green technologies. While opening up 100 new jobs for software and controls engineers as they move forward with this initiative, they will also be investing in its partnership program with Canadian Universities.
“We are making this investment because we see an opportunity to take advantage of a wealth of talent in mobile technologies, software and advanced automotive engineering available in Canada’s leading universities and other partner organizations,” Carlisle said in a news release.
Not only are they developing the careers and young talent they are also developing the car of the future! Well done GM, our future looks bright!
