A Car for Everyone
I had the opportunity to stop by the Highway 11 Cruisers Tuesday night Hot One’s Cruise Night located at the Home Depot & Harvey’s (17850 Yonge Street, Newmarket). These cruise nights run May 2nd to October 24th from 6pm to Dusk (weather permitting).
The Highway 11 Cruisers car club (founded in 2010) are a small group of like-minded car enthusiast who have grown to be a community of great people who give back and have fun doing it. NewRoads are proud sponsors of the Highway 11 Cruisers Car Club because bringing people together for a good cause is part of what we do. The Highway 11 Cruisers do not charge a fee but instead ask for a little time throughout the year to volunteer to help with the many incredible events they run.
Membership is made up of a wide-ranging group of individuals and families with people coming from a number of different geographical areas and backgrounds. The thing that sets them apart is a common love for cars. This event truly has “A Car for Everyone”. The Highway 11 Cruisers is an all-inclusive organization which means they welcome all genres of vehicles from classics to modern, tuners and euro no matter if it is a car, a truck, motorcycle or even a boat you are always welcomed to participate.
Through our partnership with the Highway 11 Cruisers we have supported many charities including… SickKids, Ernie’s Journey/ United By Trauma, JumpStart, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York, Canadian Crime Victims Foundation to name only a few.
I would like to thank the Highway 11 Cruisers for their efforts in our community and look forward to enjoying our partnership for many years to come.
