How to remove the car smoke smell | Car Tips
Maybe the worst smell to have in your vehicle is the stench of stale smoke. However, with a few cleaning supplies and little elbow grease you can have your car smelling good as new. Here are some tips for removing that car smoke smell.
To clean your vehicle you’ll need leather and vacuum cleaner, a sponge, baking soda, odor eliminating shampoo, glass cleaner and paper towel.
You should vacuum the inside of your vehicle before you clean the vehicle. After vacuuming use the odor eliminating shampoo to scrub the upholstery of your car. Make sure to apply shampoo to the sponge and carefully rub the interior of your vehicle.
Clean your windows using the paper towel and glass cleaner. You could find brown stains on the window from the smoke so it might take a little extra time to scrub those off.
Use the baking soda to get rid of the smoke smell and let it sit for at least a week. Letting it sit will allow the baking soda to grab the smoke smell from the fabric.
Finally, use the leather cleaner on all parts of the interior that are leather. This will help to eliminate any smell that may still be present and have your car smelling new again.
