When it comes to washing your car, there are a lot of do’s and don’ts. Read ahead to make sure you keep the exterior of your car in the best condition possible.
It’s important to make sure you don’t wait too long in between car washes. Allowing bird droppings and bugs to get stuck to your vehicle for a long period of time can cause the paint job to deteriorate.
Don’t use household products when washing your car. Soap and detergent can ruin the paint job and wipe off the wax. Instead, you should use products that are specifically made for washing vehicles.
Remember not to wash your car when it’s still hot. Don’t wash it right after you’ve driven or after it’s been sitting outside on a hot day.
When you wash your vehicle, remember to do one spot at a time and don’t move on to the next one until the previous spot is completely clean.
Use a towel to dry your car after as letting it air dry could leave watermarks. Don’t wait until the entire car has been washed to dry it as a large portion of the vehicle will air dry on its own.
