The Masters 2015 Recap

Jordan Spieth Masters Champion

First things first a big congratulations to the remarkable Jordan Spieth for pulling off an incredible win at only 21 years old! Spieth finished strong on Sunday sitting with 18 under par as he waited for the results. During his final round at Augusta Spieth at one point even hit a record breaking -19, which no doubt helped him secure his win! We all know that means he is already one of the greats, following in the footsteps of Woods and Palmer who also won The Masters at such a young age.

As the game developed through out the weekend it became very clear that Spieth was in it to win it, when speaking to the press Spieth said, “I am just going to go out and play my own game. It will be different from last year. I will be patient.”

Some incredible advice coming from the young man, and it worked! Now number 2 in the world next to another youngster Rory McIlroy, Speith just became a millionaire with the most coveted green jacket!

With Spieth dominating the lead all weekend it is obvious to say that it was a race for second. Coming in at -14 Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose tied for that second place. Mcllroy followed with -12 and Hideki Mastsuyama came in with -11 rounding off the top 5.

Justin Rose had some pretty impressive moves in his game over the weekend. From going into the woods off the tee and then back in the woods again he managed to still make a birdie on No.7 despite having to hit from directly behind a tree!

Lets also not forget the man with 3 green jackets, Michelson and his amazing shot out of the bunker to birdie No. 15 securing his place in second.

An unforgettable dynamic duo, Woods and Mcllroy created some exciting moments over the weekend as well. While Woods seems to be pulling off his comeback, Mcllroy proves his number one spot in the world by winning the last 45 holes.  Another amazing weekend in the golf world!
