Rules and Regulations
No purchase necessary. The NewRoads Mazda Starbucks Card Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored solely by NewRoads Mazda (the “Sponsor”) and runs from 12.01 AM Friday, February 8th 2019, to be closed 11.59 PM on Tuesday March 5th, 2019 (the “Contest Period”).
- Eligibility: To enter and be eligible to win a person must be a resident of Ontario at the time of entry, who is 18 years of age or older (entrants under the age of 18 must have parental consent) at the time of entry and who is not an employee of the Sponsor, it’s affiliated companies or agents, it’s respective advertising or promotional agencies or the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee’s immediately family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (weather related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partners or spouse.

Participate within Contest dates between 12.01 AM February, 8th, 2019, and Tuesday, March 5th, 2019.  In order to win, entrants must share a story about their car, truck, van or SUV using the hashtag #newroadstales , and be a follower of NewRoads Mazda on Facebook and or Instagram.
On March 6th, 2019 the winner will be randomly selected. There will be one winner during the contest period. By entering the contest you confirm you are 18 years of age or older, that you are a resident of Ontario and have read and agree to the Official Contest Rules and Regulations and NewRoads Mazda’s Privacy Policy.
Limit of one (1) entry per person per Facebook or Instagram account per day. If it is discovered that any person as attempted to: (i) obtain more than one (1) entry per person/ Facebook or Instagram account per day (as defined above) during the Contest Period and/or (ii) use (or attempt to use) multiple names, identities, accounts and/or more than one(1) Facebook or Instagram account to enter the Contest; then (in the sold and absolute discretion of the Sponsor) he/she may be disqualified from the Contest.
Internet access and a valid Facebook or Instagram account are necessary in order to participate. If you do not have access to the internet and wish to participate, your local library or internet café maybe able to provide access to the Internet. To be eligible, Entries must be received during the Contest Period.
All Entries are subject to verification. The Sponsor reserves the right, in it’s sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor- including, without limitation, government issued photo identification) to enter this Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification. The sole determinant of the time of the purposes of a valid Entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
- PRIZE: One Starbucks gift card valued at $100.00 CAD.
- WINNER SELECTION: The Winner will be selected randomly from all contest entries from the Contest Period and will be contacted between March 6, 2019 and March 8, 2019. Odds of being selected depend on total number of entries received. The selected entrant will be announced on NewRoads Mazda’s Facebook and or Instagram pages. Entrants will need to follow NewRoads Mazda on Facebook and Instagram in order to receive news of a winner. The selected entrant will have two (2) business days to respond to the announcement. If the selected entrant (a) does not respond within two (2) business days or (b) fails to follow NewRoads Mazda in order to ve reached, then he/she will be disqualified. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attemps to contact a selected entrant.
- WINNER CONDITIONS: To be declared a Winner, the selected entrant will also be required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) at NewRoads Mazda confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded without substitution, and which releases the Sponsor and affiliated companies and all other sponsors of the Contest, and their respective successors, sponsors, employees, agents, partners, licensees, advertisers and promotional agencies from any liability in connection with the Prize or the Contest. The Winner will have five (5) business days calculated from the time of initial announcement to visit NewRoads Mazda and sign the Release Form. If the selected entrant does not sign the Release Form at NewRoads Mazda within five (5) business days the Prize may be forfeited. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to reach the Winner and reserves the right to select a new entrant as the Winner. Upon receipt of the Release Form, if completed with the five (5) business day period, the selected entrant will receive the Prize from NewRoads Mazda.
- The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook inc. or any of it’s subsidiaries. Entrants are providing their information to NewRoads Mazda and not to Facebook and or Instagram. The information collected will be in determining the contest winner. All personal data collected will be for the purpose of administering the Contest.
- GENERAL: By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the independent contest organization with respect to all aspects of the Contest, which decisions are final.
