Car technology has advanced significantly in the new millennium. As a result, you should make sure you are keeping up with the newest trends when you shop new. Here are a list of features you should make sure you have with you when you go car shopping.
 
Many new vehicles are compatible with smartphones but it’s still important to check that your phone will function in your new ride. Before making a purchase, ensure that your phone works with the car as that’s not something you want to find out after the matter.
 
Take your child seat(s) with you before purchasing the new vehicle. Some seats don’t fit as secure with the new LATCH system so test them out beforehand.
 
Try out the new infotainment system in your vehicle when doing the test drive. Some of the systems aren’t user-friendly so it’s important to find one that works for you.
 
Finally, many newer vehicles don’t come with spare and instead come with a sealant kit. Just like having a spare tire, a sealant kit will be useless to you if you don’t know how to use it. Make sure you are capable of getting yourself out of a jam before you’re stranded by yourself.
