Visiting the Round the Bend Farm with the Subaru Outback Wilderness

Happy Halloweek 🎃 We’re gearing up for Halloween weekend with a trip to our local pumpkin patch! It really wouldn’t be fall with out a visit to Round the Bend Farm & the Subaru Outback Wilderness really took it to the next level. We headed out to the country roads to a place I know pretty well. Growing up in the York Region, Round the Bend Farm is a staple when it comes to the fall season. I remember going there as a kid on school field trips and with my mom to pick the perfect pumpkins for Halloween!

One of the best parts of the Subaru Outback Wilderness is that it is the tallest Subaru with a 9inch ground clearance. This was perfect for the uneven ground you often experience at the farm – driving in the Outback Wilderness you don’t have to worry! When we arrived at the farm we parked and set off to pick our pumpkins. Around the Bend has two options right now, you can explore the farm, but you must register or you can shop in the store & in the pumpkin patch. Since we were just in the market for some pumpkins we didn’t need to register. We wandered around the patch and once we found what we wanted we went to the market. It was full of fresh produce, baked goods and local products like honey. Sometimes it just tastes better when you get it right from the source.

After we secured our pumpkins we loaded them into the back of the Outback and closed the truck with the easy power lift gate. With a push of a button you can open and close the trunk with ease & we all know that comes in handy! My other favourite part about this vehicle is the infotainment screen, the new Outbacks have upgraded the driving experience with their massive screen. You can control your climate and heated seats right at your finger tips & this screen feels like an extension of your phone. Oh, did I mention it also has heated rear seats?! It’s a game changer feature!

Few other important features to note about this vehicle are it’s water resistant seats, roof rails and the iconic Subaru driving system aka it comes fully equipped with AWD and new dual-function x-mode. The Subaru Outback Wilderness thrives in adventure mode, the only question is where will it take you?​
