Seniors Focus Morning – Sharon Temperance Hall

I had the pleasure this week to speak with our MPP York-Simcoe Julia Munro.

This is not the first time, but each time she re-confirms to me that she really is a delightful and intelligent woman

She is very supportive of our community and has coordinated and is hosting an upcoming event called the Seniors Focus Morning.

Several local organizations will be attending to offer information on community involvement and healthy living.

Presentations will be given by Community and Home Assistance to Seniors (CHATS) and the York Regional Police.

There will also be a Zumba demonstration with local instructors.

A light lunch (free lunch is alway good!) will be served at noon.

The dates are Tuesday November 6, 2012 at the Sharon Temperance Hall (18974 Leslie Street) and Friday November 9, 2012 at The Sutton Legion (21 East Street).

This great event begins at 9 am and runs until noon when the lunch will then be served.

People can register by calling 905-895-1555 or at julia.munro@pc.ola.org.

I find it inspiring to see these types of events being offered in our Community.

Way to go Julia!
