What you should have in your Vehicle in the Summer
Although you should avoid having a large number of items in your vehicle, as this will ultimately lower your fuel efficiency, there are some essential items every driver should have in their car for the summer.
It’s important to have some sort of emergency kit in case you get stranded and have to wait a while before helps arrives. This kit should include items such as non-perishable food items, a first aid kit, and water. While these items may not help you get back on the road, they will help you in case of injury and will prevent you from getting hungry/thirsty.
If you know how to fix simple mechanical problems, it’s a great idea to have a small tool kit on you. Items like jumper cables, a flashlight, fuses, pliers and wrenches could help fix your issue and get you back on the road.
Finally, if you drive through uneven terrain, you could find yourself running into a flat tire. Make sure you have a spare tire as well as a jack and a nut leg wrench so you can replace the flat tire with your spare.
