What is Kia’s UVO?
Kia’s UVO is a system powered by Microsoft that allows you to tell your car what to do using voice-activated controls. Available in many Kia vehicles, UVO can make phone calls, stream music and access your Bluetooth with just the sound of your voice.
Some of the features included with UVO include a 4.3 inch colour touchscreen, advanced speech recognition and MyMusic, which allows you to move from different music sources such as switching from satellite radio to your iPod.
UVO will make driving safer and easier because you’ll be able to concentrate on the road more if you’re doing everything hands free. There are far too many accidents every year because people are looking at their phone or fumbling with the radio. UVO should greatly reduce the number of accidents and make driving a much safer experience.
UVO can be found in the 2012 Rio, Soul, Sorento, Sportage and Optima.
